The epitome of vintage glamooooour! This show-stopping number from the late 1980's/early 90s, by high quality prom, pageant and formal gown designer Mike Benet Formals,  in a gorgeous deep, raspberry fuchsia, was clearly intended as an 80s twist on Marilyn's famous pink gown. She is in sparkling pristine mint condition! Ready to be draped in diamonds of all shapes and sizes.

 Features a fully boned bodice for support and shaping, with asymmetrical v-shaped waist, covered in glittering pink sequins (front and back). Full length column skirt in high quality silk taffeta with sexy front leg slit. Ruffled peplum waist and shoulder detail with fantastic over-sized bow.  Fully lined.  Closes with original hidden long back zipper and 3 hook & eyes also all original (one at the top of the zipper, one at the waist and one to connect the peplum - pictured in last few slides above).  Made in U.S.A.

The dress is close to a modern US size 0-00 (tiniest little waist) but please see measurements below for an accurate fit.

    • Mint- Pristine as the day it was made, shows no signs of wear.
    • Near Mint- Item shows only the slightest signs of wear.
    • Excellent- Item shows typical signs of wear due to occasional use.
    • Very Good- Item is wearable, but has some surface flaws such as fading or staining.
    • Good- Item is wearable, but cannot be returned to excellent condition even with repairs.
    • Fair- Item is barely wearable, could be used for a costume or as a project piece.
    • Poor- Item is not wearable and could only be used for repurposing or a pattern.
