HEPA filter insert for masks
For use with the 100% cotton masks available in my shop.
Removeable HEPA filter inserts are shown to effectively capture and trap ultrafine virus particles as small as 0.01 microns. (The virus that causes COVID-19 is much larger at approximately 0.125 microns in diameter - so, no problem for HEPA filters).
For highest efficacy, once a filter is used, it should be removed from the mask and set aside in a sealed plastic bag for at least 3 days - to allow any trapped viral particles to die before using again.
